Your Faculty eLearning team can help you with queries relating to eLearning applications such as Blackboard and Canvas, and provide support to enhance teaching and student learning.
You can quickly find solutions yourself by searching the Knowledge Base in Connect, or contact your eLearning team if you need further help.
You can raise a Blackboard or Turnitin issue with your eLearning team by visiting the "Something not working?" form and choosing Blackboard or Turnitin from the Service list:
Students' course list
If course information is missing from your list in Blackboard, you may need to contact your lecturer or course administrator in the first instance. However, please note that courses may take up to 24 hours to appear in your list.

Colleagues can request support from their eLearning team using the Blackboard, Turnitin, Canvas and eLearning form:
A new central learning environment
Blackboard is the current virtual learning environment and will be switched off on Friday 17 October 2025.
- Students are advised to download information they may need quick access to before this date.
- Staff will need to ensure teaching and assessment activity is completed in Blackboard before this date.
Canvas will replace Blackboard in the next academic year (2025/2026), bringing an improved teaching, learning and student experience.
